Service Dog for Jessie

Donation protected
In August 2019,  at the age of 14, Jessie was diagnosed with End Stage Renal Failure, Chronic Kidney Disease.  She is currently seeking a live kidney donor and will require a transplant.
Until she receives her transplant, she is hooked up to a dialysis machine every night, for 12 hours. She also takes many medications to keep her body functioning.
Over time, this disease has brought to the surface other anxieties, which she is now struggling with.
Her doctor has recommended that a service dog could help her manage these issues. It would be specifically trained for Jessie's needs, and would provide emotional support, comfort, and assistance for specific behaviors that Jessie is living with everyday.
A fully trained service dog can cost upwards of $25000.  That includes the purchase of the qualified puppy, 24 months of intense training, handler harnesses, vet services and insurance.  All due when the dog is 1yr old.
Unfortunately, we are unable to cover these costs, so we are asking for your help. If you are able to make a donation, it would be greatly appreciated.
Jessie has a huge heart, and the dog will have a fantastic home.
Thank you for your support for Jessie and her journey.
