Juan's Memorial Fund

Hi, my name is Monica. As some of you may know, my dad recently passed. His battle with pancreatic cancer was short, and he did all he could to plan for my mom and my future, but there’s only so much you can plan for.

My dad loved my mom and I more than anything in the world and tried his best to plan for any circumstance that came our way. Sometimes, the inevitable happens and plans go awry. Although my dad helped us in every way he could, the past month without him has been stressful beyond what could have been imagined. I have had to learn so much about finances, legal documents, insurance, billing, and making sure everything is set up for my mom. For the most part, the two of us have been doing this on our own. We are doing our best but it has been an overwhelming uphill journey. I understand everyone has their own unplanned events, but if giving makes sense for you, it would mean a lot.

I feel eternally grateful to everyone who sent messages, brought food, and supported me so far. It feels weird to for assistance, but the expenses are an added stress, and anything helps.

Everyone’s love and kindness has been the foundation of figuring out a new normal and I am eternally appreciative.
