Help my husband with his dream

Hello ❤️ my name is Catherine. My husband Edwin Raul and I have been together for 32 years. We have 6 children and 7 grandchildren, one of whom passed sadly at birth.

My husband was born and raised in Puerto Rico and moved to Philadelphia when he was 18, which is when we met. He’s been a truck driver for years, and those that know him know that he’d give anyone the shirt off his back if they needed it. He always dreamed of going back to Puerto Rico. Back in October of 2022 we went to Puerto Rico to close on land where we would build our dream home. During that trip, my husband discovered a lump in his testicle. We called our doctor as soon as we got home and he was scheduled for surgery immediately. Everything went well, and we were told that nothing else needed to be done. We then began the plans of building. Check by check, saving here and there and little by little we began to see progress and were so excited, until my husband began to feel ill in March 2024. Fevers, chills and abdominal pain that wouldn’t go away. We went to the ER and he was later admitted with what they thought was an abscess. We later found out it was cancer. It had gotten his lymph node and it was pretty big. He had to start some pretty tough rounds of chemotherapy. Chemo really hit him hard and knocked him down. Our bubbly, funny, sweet, hard working man was not there anymore. He was hospitalized most of the time he was in chemo. He had always been our number one provider. Things were getting hard. Finally, on June 16th, he got to ring that bell. No more chemo!!! Even though he stayed at the hospital for over a week after because he was so sick, we were happy that hopefully, all of this was over. He was finally discharged and we were hoping to begin getting back to some type of normalcy, but that’s not what’s happening. His health has continued to decline and we’ve had to come to the realization that he won’t be able to return to work. That broke him, because if anyone knows him they know that he loves trucking. Sobbing he said, “What if I never get to see my dream?”. Now is where I come to do something I never thought I’d have to do. I want to finish my husband’s dream home… and this will help with the next phase of construction… I want to surprise him and help him see his dream home… Please help!
