This 1 Is For Taco

This is Bobby Novosad from 94.5 KSMB. My best friend, Luis "Taco" Flores has inoperable cancer. The cancer started at the end of the esophagus and has encompassed the stomach and pancreatic area and is spreading to other internal organs.
Not only is he my close friend, he has also been a thirty-year employee at KSMB. If you remember the KSMB Giant Jambox days, Taco was the driver. He came to all of our events, parades, festivals plus hundreds of bar and nightclub promotions.
Everyone knows Taco. People either know him personally or by sight. So many times I would be with him and someone would walk up and say, "Wait...Taco? I remember you."
He is a true fan of KSMB, radio in general, and he is someone we all have counted on. The guy never, ever told anyone "no." He has been there for us at four in the afternoon and four in the morning.
I need your help in making the benefit I have planned for him a success. Taco has two sons. Caleb, 13 and Jacob, 11. Wednesday, November 25th I am invited everyone to Nitetown at 524 Jefferson St. to the, "This 1 Is For Taco" benefit. The doors will open at nine and admission is $20 or more as a donation. Cupid and his band has already committed to perform that night. Other entertainment is TBA. We will also have a silent auction with some really cool items to bid on.
Please help the entire Lafayette, LA radio market make this one for Taco. The man worked seven days a week almost nonstop. I know. I saw it. This night is for him. In the event his physically able, Taco has asked to make an appearance that night.
I realize that the event is the night before Thanskgiving and some of you may already have plans to be out of town. That is why I have created this gofundme account.
If that is the case, PLEASE make a donation to help out your friend and my friend Taco.
Hope to see you there if you can make it. I have read and promoted thousands of fundraisers just like this on my morning show. It is my first time actually putting one together. It is more than worth the time, effort and calling in favors for this great guy.
