Support Ali's Fight Against Cancer

Ali is an incredible woman, a loving mom, a great friend, wife, daughter and a true fighter. With a young child at home and another on the way, she should be focused on enjoying this exciting chapter of her life. Instead, she is faced with an unimaginable challenge: colorectal adenocarcinoma that has metastasized to her liver.

Ali’s journey to this diagnosis has been anything but ordinary. When she found out she was pregnant, she was excited to do a genetic blood test (NIPT) to find out her baby’s gender early. After receiving three strange results, doctors realized something wasn’t right. She was flown to Maryland by the National Institute of Health for a full body work-up as part of an ongoing study. It was there Ali and her family were given the devastating news: she has colorectal adenocarcinoma (colon cancer), and it has already spread to her liver.

Now, Ali is beginning treatment to fight for her life while also preparing to welcome her baby girl. Working two jobs to help with the financial burden of her husband going to school full time and the amount of appointments in the near future having two jobs is too much to bear.

Ali has fought cancer once before as a child and beat it! Now, she is drawing on that same strength and courage to face it again, this time for herself, her growing family, and her future. She cannot do this alone.
