The following is a detailed message of our struggle since my husbands surgery & then a near death accident that changed our lives!
My name is Tara Parker wife and mother of 2 beautiful children. My husband is a veteran served in the Army! Over the last year my husband has undergone major surgery for removal of all his wrist bones in right hand. He lost use of his right hand as far as loss of motion and strength . February 27, 2017 my husband and I were cutting and gathering firewood to save money on our heating bill in that process he fell off a piece of heavy equipment and the track ran over and crushed the left side of his body. He twisted out from under track and the machine came down on his hips and pinned him to the ground. He had to talk me through getting the machine off of him, could not believe how calm he remained! Afterwards he was rushed to a trauma center where he received care. After being in the hospital for 8 days and finding out he had multiple fractures in his left leg a fractured pelvis hematoma around his bladder and left leg. Also learned later a fractured tailbone a herniated disc of his spine and pinched nerves. I have been working all the hours I can, but it does not begin to cover all the hospital, travel expenses and lost wages involved with the accident. Between working full time the extra care that my husband needs and being their for our children. I am emotionally and physically exhausted. Any donations would be greatly appreciated until we can get backk on our feet. My gratitude to all who have taken the time to read this and reach out to us. Thank you!!!
