Lakeland Pregnant Mother in Need

Lakeland Midwifery Care EMERGENTLY needs your help. We have a mother who is 39 weeks pregnant and is at risk of losing her home.

This mother is a client/patient at Lakeland Midwifery Care. She was displaced from her Sebring trailer and moved to the Lakeland/Winter Haven area. This LMC client is in desperate need of funding for rent and her light bill. She is at risk of being evicted from her home with her children, ages 13, 10, 7, and 3. She will also have a newborn within the next week or so, planning a home birth.

Marianne Power and Amanda Mann are calling on their current and former clients, as well as people who are families and friends of clients to donate to this fund, as well as people who love them and their work, to help in this time of great need.  

LMC serves a population of approximately 93% medicaid-eligible population. We say YES to everyone who needs care, and assist as we can with high risk clients to get to the care they need.
