Help Windy!

PLEASE HELP US GET 7 YR OLD WINDY THE MEDICAL CARE SHE NEEDS! Santa Barbara Vizsla Lovers Rescue has sprung Windy the Vizsla from a desert kill shelter where she was abandoned by her owners along with her 2 year old daughter Fog. Both had evidence of multiple litters. Then they separated the two, adopting the younger female separately (who was also supposed to come to rescue) and SBVLR was only able to get Windy to safety in the home of our wonderful foster where she is so happy and thriving to be in a loving home with two Vizsla friends. Sadly, we discovered that Windy has an untreated mammary tumor which has a 50% chance of being cancerous. Windy was not spayed at the shelter and the two surgeries can be done together but the tumor removal increases the cost. Kind supporters, you know SBVLR has helped so many former Vizsla’ with medical and rehoming needs: we need your help once again before scheduled surgery July 25 to get Windy the medical care she did not receive in the past. Once she has recovered, we look forward to finding delightful, playful and sweet Windy a happy and loving home for the rest of her “young-at-heart” life.
