Help After Hospitalization

First and foremost, I would like to extend my gratitude to anyone who may have stumbled across my GoFundMe page and takes the time to read for my cause. Thank you.

My name is Malek Fountain and I am twenty years old living in Florida, USA. Being out of work for two straight weeks, I am already stressed enough as it is to make due dates for my bills while also somehow providing myself with the means to get gas and keep myself and my pet cat fed. Not to mention, I will also have a hospital bill because I only just came into getting health insurance in the midst of this fiasco. 

Since I was twelve years old, I have been diagnosed with an inflammatory bowel disease known as Ulcerative Colitis. I have been hospitalized over the course of eight years five separate occasions because of it and have been through an array of treatments from prescription drugs to infusions to injections. The difference this time is being that I am now an adult living on my own.

On June 1st, I was hospitalized due to the fact that I did not have health insurance and could not afford my medication out of pocket and was without treatment for three months. After a five day stay, I was discharged from the hospital only to go back less than 48 hours later. I was once again released from the hospital on June 13th and I have no time to recuperate and recover due to the fact that I have to pay rent and other utilities such as electricity and car insurance and cannot afford to take anymore time off of work.
