Regina’s fight with cancer

My name is Krista and I’m Regina’s oldest daughter.

She also has my brother Kevin. Who’s has one 2 year old son, and another on the way with his gf Morgan. My sister Kaydee who has a 1 year old son. And three step children with her husband Russell. My husband and I are also expecting our first baby. Unfortunately

In March of 2021 my mother was diagnosed with a very rare and aggressive cancer that unfortunately has very little studies on it so treatment is a little bit of a shot in the dark. The cancer is ALM, a skin cancer that only starts on either your hands or feet. Her’s started on the bottom of her foot. She’s been trying two different immunotherapies over the last 8 month as well as two different surgeries to remove a part of the sole of her foot and then more as well as her two little toes. Unfortunately, the cancer has continued to pop up on her foot becoming a very large and very painful mass/tumor. It is now popping up spots on her calf and shin. She has a PET scan tomorrow 1-28-22. We are praying the cancer is still contained in that leg. If so, there may be some aggressive options like amputation of that leg that could help slow the spread and give her more time. But if the cancer has metastasized to any organs we are being told she has 6 months.

So, this brings me to why I’m making this gofundme.

My papa, Russell is an amazing husband to my mom. He’s a very hard working man. He currently runs his own junk removal business. He works 6 sometimes 7 days a week, never missing a customers call. He’s the sole provider for their home. In December all of us kids moved to Tennessee to be with them and My husband also works with Russell as a two man team. The junk business is our family business. And it takes two people to make it work, picking up heavy loads of furniture, metal, etc.

Wether mom gets good news at this scan and needs to have her whole leg amputated or bad news and is given the terrible news of a date we could use some help. Russell will be needed by my mom. His focus should be a little off of working and a little more on time with his wife. My mom deserve this as she’s been the most wonderful wife and mother. Financial help means making a few more memories with my mom. Spending more time together as a family without some of the financial burdens of everyday life. Any money raised will help pay for their mortgage, utility bills, medical bills. So with a devastated and humble heart I’m asking for any help you can. Even if it’s just sharing this.
