Officer and family in need
Donation protected
Around 2:30-2:45 on April 13 Emily was at home with her two children while her husband was at work at a local police department. She received an alert on her phone to take cover. A tornado was in the path of their home. Her and her children took cover in a bathroom. The tornado pick their home up off of its foundation and moved it. They were locked inside the bathroom and was unable to get out due to the flooring came up blocking the door. Emily, also a police officer, kicked the wall down into the next room getting her and her children out of the home. When they exited the home is when she found her house had been moved and everything was a loss. The shed that contained all of her baby pictures of her kids was flatten. Pictures laid in the yard, in the trees, in the mud and in puddles of water. Another shed containing items was also flatten. Their motor home is a total loss as well. There is no longer a driveway to her house as trees lay throughout the property. Please find it in your heart to help this family in need as they are now homeless. Any type of donation will help this family. This is a family that helps keep your family safe now they are in need.
