Hello, I'm Mike and I'm raising money for my daughter's school, the Academy for Precision Learning. Founded in 2007, APL is an inclusive K-12 school serving neurodiverse learners in an inclusive, academically challenging, and socially vibrant environment. The school has allowed our kids on the spectrum to form strong friendship bonds and community while getting a strong education and learning life skills that will be invaluable to them as they get older. Through the creation of an inclusive learning environment for our students, it has been a game-changer for many of the families, including ours. Due to the pandemic and a variety of other stressors, the school is currently facing some financial challenges. There's a plan in place to rectify but we have heard from many of our families and our friends of the desire to directly contribute.

In order to bridge the gap and welcome our staff back in August and to brighten up our upper school, we have set up this fund. Funds will be allocated to enable our school to pay a bonus to staff as they return on August 22nd. Any remaining funds will be used towards sponsoring a mural for the Upper school. We may not have extensive funding for renovations but creating a mural that the students help to design will truly brighten up our school. We are aware that many families have already donated via the auction or other means. This is for those that have expressly asked to have a means for them and their inner circles to contribute.
