Homeless Joe

Hi, My name is Mike and I'm trying to help Joe get back on his feet. Joe was a trucker who lost his job. His landlord raised his rent and evicted him. He had been a resident of Tamarac Florida for 13 years. This is a picture of him living on the street a few blocks from where he had an apartment. He had a pickup but the police impounded it along with all of his possessions. His first goal is to get a used car and then apply for a job. He does not have an addiction problem or mental health issues. I visit with him a few times a week to give him food and clothing. He wants to work but needs to improve his current state of affairs to be in a position where someone would hire him. He is afraid to open a bank account because he owes the IRS $50,000.
