Hi, my name Bruce Legacie and I was born with Spina Bifida in 1963. I have been very independent my whole life. This last bout of sepsis and hospital stay in March took some of my independence from me where my sister or best friend has had to lift me every morning into my wheelchair. But God decided to put some wonderful therapist in my life to regain my independence and chance to actually go uptown. On May 11th I was fitted with an electric wheelchair that I am still waiting to hear on insurance approval and for it to be built. I do need a power lift mat and this is not covered by insurance. I am asking for any monetary donations to help me gain my independence and freedom. Any amount will help to reach my goal. The lift is over six thousand and I am on a very fixed income.
