Alix's Medical Expenses

Alix has been battling with her health for a year now. She has gone to more than 8 different doctors and 4 different hospitals. Paid every medical bill in cash.

She’s not able to obtain good health insurance and her health issues caused her to be unemployed.

The healthcare system in America has made it incredibly challenging to obtain healthcare. This time our friend Alix was affected by a system that only benefits some.

Doctors gaslighted her into thinking her pain and symptoms were not dangerous or life-threatening. Nobody helped till her former boss introduced her to a Holistic Doctor. This Holistic Dr ran the correct tests on her and discovered she’d been intoxicated with MOLD. Mold caused her a disease called CIRS. It’s a Chronic inflammatory syndrome with a wide range of symptoms that are triggered by biotoxins – typically mold. CIRS describes when a body's immune system is out of whack. She’s experiencing chronic fatigue, vertigo, migraines, intense pain in the gut, and body aches. She has done multiple procedures to figure out the root cause of her pain. Including endoscopy, colonoscopy, many biopsies, blood tests, and stool tests.

CIRS has caused her to have MARCONS disease, chronic inflammation in her gut, lungs, and brain. She’s been in chronic pain without being able to get any medication to ease her pain. It’s unfortunate that even if she had good health insurance it wouldn’t cover any of these issues. It's common for insurance policies to exclude coverage for damage from mold.

This GoFundMe page will be a source for her to pay her treatment, living expenses, and medical bills. All the funds collected will be given to Alix.
