Support a Gaza Family's Dream: Children and Education

Donation protected
‎Hello All,

My name is Mohammad Hamawi. I live in Michigan, United States and originally from Gaza. I'm helping Walid Abo Shaaban collect funds to escape from this massacre with his family and to undergo treatment again in the hope of having children.

Walid Abu Shaaban and his wife Areej were living the best life in Gaza, and they were well-off. Walid worked at his company, achieving many accomplishments. He had a car and many ambitions to develop himself at work and travel abroad. Areej had ambitions too, planning to pursue a master's degree abroad after finishing her bachelor's degree in business administration. However, all these dreams vanished and shattered on that dark day.

In the past several months, the occupying army requested them to leave their homes and evacuate from Gaza to its center and to the south of Gaza, to Rafah. From there, their suffering began. They are living through the toughest and worst stages of their lives.

They have been displaced four times, living in tents without homes, food, water, or medicine. Fear and terror surround them, without safety, diseases and epidemics are everywhere, even the air they breathe is tainted with the smell of rockets. Every moment, they await death until this very moment.

Several months ago, they were preparing themselves to become parents and getting ready to welcome their twins (a boy and a girl) after waiting for nine years of marriage, enduring multiple struggles, surgeries, medications, and injections, including IVF.

Since the beginning of the war, they have been suffering from extreme fear, constant pressure, displacement, inadequate nutrition for their children, lack of access to water and food, and the spread of diseases. Their bodies have been affected by these challenging factors, especially by the unavailability of medications and necessary injections to maintain their children's health. Two months ago, Areej experienced severe bleeding, miscarriage of her children, and the loss of her dream. Until now, she is still suffering from shock, bleeding, and inability to undergo any procedure to preserve her life.

All they need now is helping to get out of here and begin their new future anywhere else. The cost of leaving is $5,000-$6,000 for each person.
They need $20,000 for the necessary procedures to rebuild their dream, and the remaining amount to pursue work and afford a living
