#81 Granger Howell Burial Expenses

Hi, my name is Diane Evans, we lost a dear friend, the Dirt Track family lost a legendary race car driver, and his family lost a Dad, Brother, Son, or whatever your relationship might be, Granger Howell #81 from Kingston, GA, passed away yesterday, Sunday Jan 15th.

I spoke with his Sister, Shawna this morning and the family is in pain and struggling with their loss. She also mentioned Granger had NO life insurance and she is struggling with how to lay him to rest. They would never ask for help with this but if you knew Granger you know he would give the shirt off his back to help anyone in need. I offered to set up this Go Fund Me account to help with the expenses to lay him to rest as well as any other expenses they might incur from this loss.

If you feel led to donate to the Granger Howell Family I know it will be greatly appreciated. To my knowledge, this is the ONLY account set up for them and all donations will go to his family.

Just a little about what happened to Granger, as everyone is asking. There is very little information to pass on at this time but I will list what I know from the family.

Granger was found deceased in his home in Kingston, GA Sunday 1/15/23 around noon. His Sister had tried contacting him Sunday morning with no response, she went to the home and all doors were locked and he did not come to the door. She called for a well check and the police came and made entry into the house, upon entry to the house they discovered Granger in the bathroom, deceased. From there on it was an investigation and no one was allowed into the home including his sister. After the coroner arrived and did her job she said she could not speculate on the cause of death but it appeared he went quickly, could be a number of things that happened but she saw no signs of injury. The body has been taken for an autopsy to find the cause of death. There has been speculation it was a heart attack, stroke, blood clot, brain bleed and numerous other things but at this time no one knows the cause of death.
