81- Year Resident Faces Eviction

Our good friend John has been, and still is an activist champion for fairness; in our community, and for our country and planet- fighting the good fight for others. Now he needs our help, as he still fights for us all.
John Busch was born and raised in San Leandro and at 81 is facing eviction from the trailer park he has called home for many years because the new owner, who bought the property in 2017 is 'clearing house' to profit from his speculative venture. The first thing that the new owner did was raise rents 60 to 80 %, forcing most tenants out. This leaves the residents especially vulnerable because trailer parks have no renters protection. This is WRONG, and John is not going quietly.
