This page is set-up to help raise money for 2 wonderful kids whom I have the pleasure of coaching. On Wednesday the 2 kids were playing basketball outside their home when a 16 year old lost control of his car. Injuring these 2 little guys, Gabe Rojas who has suffered the worst of it all is in his second surgery this morning. Jartis Soloman as well has suffered a broke elbow and wrist along with a fracture in his right knee. Jartis's parents just lost their insurance as well.
I am their coach, their mentor, as well a disabled vet. I am asking this baseball community and supporting communities to help me strive to give back just a fraction of what they give me. These young men help me function and work daily to overcome PTSD. I feel it's my duty to stand and fight for these players.
Please continue to keep Gabriel in your prayers. He will have the second of many surgeries tomorrow morning. He has a long road ahead of him. Jartis is also under doctors care and will have a long road to recovery. Pray that the doctors are rested and alert. Pray for comfort for their parents; pray that the nurses are able to give them the best care available. Pray for emotional healing as well as physical healing for the family as a whole. ...Pray for the 16 year old careless driver as well.
