Medical Expenses

On behalf of my Mom and Dad, we are starting this fundraiser to help begin to put a dent into the medical bills that have acquired over the past few years due to my Dad's aggressive cancer.

Even though my dad fought cancer with every fiber he had, he still lost the battle. I know life is full of unexpected things and no one ever knows what will happen but Sunday, July 16, 2023, my mom lost the best part of her and my brother and I lost our loving father. He was strong enough to hold on until he got to see all his kids and grandbabies but ultimately was too tired and weak to go on.

These medical expenses are not something my mom can just forget about now that my dad has passed. We would also assume that health insurance covers a lot when someone becomes terminally ill. However, that is not the case, even being an Army Veteran, my dad's medical bills have piled up over the years. My mom's stress has turned from my dad's illness to the ever-growing expenses left behind from this difficult journey. Through the past 3 years my dad was in and out of the hospitals and doctors' appointments, which included chemo and radiation and surgery to prolong his life, allowing him a little more time with his family and close friends. Any donations will go towards medical expenses.
