In honor of Chris Bove and his family

Our beloved brother, Chris, recently passed on August 11th after fighting a very long and challenging battle due to complications of diabetes. Chris was a wonderful brother who touched the lives of those around him. He leaves behind his loving wife, Gale, two beautiful children, Lindsay and Nick and one grandson, Nico.
For those of you that knew Chris, he was the first person you would call when there was a repair needed or problem to be solved. You never had to ask twice and there was nothing too difficult or outside his wheelhouse. If you needed the help, he was there to fix it no matter what! He truly loved helping others. At the young age of 18, Chris was considered the man of the house to his four younger siblings after losing his dad. Although Chris lived in Florida the last 20 years, his heart remained loyal to New York and the Yankees. He was their number one fan and enjoyed taunting his two younger brothers, over very long phone calls, who supported that team from Boston.
Like all of those that knew Chris, we are devastated by this loss but find comfort in remembering his sense of humor and zest for life. Even when things were tough at the end, he joked with his family all the time. He never wanted to be a bother to others. We feel now is the time we can help Chris, and the best way we can do that is to assist Gale and their children by raising funds to offset medical expenses incurred over the last years due to Chris’s illness.
We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support and appreciate all those that have reached out to express your condolences. We hope to honor our brother’s memory by having his kindness and humor live on in our hearts.
With love,
Sue, Jay, Pete and Carla
