82nd Monument at Ft Benning

The National Infantry Museum at Ft Benning, Ga is one of the foremost Military Museums in the Country. Attached to the Museum is the Walk of Honor where various Infantry Units are represented.
     The 82nd Airborne Division is one of the greatest Infantry Divisions in the history of the United States Army. Its time and it is fitting that the All American Division  to be placed on the Walk of Honor.
     The momument will honor all those who have served in the 82nd, are serving in the 82nd and who will serve in the 82nd in the future.
      A further objective is to educate the public about the 82nd Airborne Division, past ,present and future.
     Funds will be used to secure a plot, design a Monument and facilitate the construction of the Monument
     The committee for the Ft Benning Monument consists of former members of the 82nd Airborne Division , who are unpaid volunteers. The committee members are not even reimbursed for expenses.
     They have taken on this project out of a sense of duty, loyalty and love for the 82nd Airborne Division and all of the brothers and sisters who serve.
      Time is of an essence. A project such as this cannot be completed over night. Even though the projected completion date is March of 2019, many things have to be completed in a sequence for which the clock is running.
      We feel that this project is long over due and and all assistance will be greatly appreciated.
