Vet Bills
Donation protected
Last year, I lost an 18 year-old cat because he became ill suddenly and I couldn't afford the vet bills.
This year, 2 more of my cats are seniors and have developed medical issues. Malik is 16 and Jasper (seen in the picture) is 14.
My goal here is to try to save both cats and keep them comfortable while they recover.
Malik has spinal and hip issues. I've already taken him for treatment and spent $525 this week.
I spent several hours at the vet this morning with Jasper, who had to be put under in order for his condition to be determined. $607 later, we walked out the door with instructions that he needed surgery ASAP, which will cost at least $700.
I don't have $700. I didn't have $525 or $607. I had to put off my car insurance and a car payment in order to cover those.
Feeling a little overwhelmed right now and remembering the feeling of being unable to save Bakura last year.
And I'm wondering if anyone out there might be able to help.
I understand that most people have their own problems and can't contribute, but for anyone who is able to help, please know that kitties and kids and I will love you forever.
The goal seems impossible, but one never knows until one tries.
(Please note that I rounded up to $1,900 in order to cover the 2.9% fees that GoFundMe now charges. I did not add in additional money for the 30 cent per donation fee.)
Thank you for reading.
If you could spread the word, I would appreciate your kindness greatly.
