837 Mile Ride for The Fire Fighters Charity
Hey everyone, I’m attempting to bike the equivalent distance of Lands End in Cornwall up to John O’ Groat in Scotland, which is 837 miles, but around my home town of Potton to raise money for The Fire Fighters Charity. I’ll be riding over the course of 8 days from July 22-29.
As many of you may know, 5 years ago on December 23rd, I was in a near fatal car accident. I was trapped under the car and the Potton Fire Crew were able to dig a trench to safely pull me out. Without them, I likely wouldn’t be here today, which is why I want to raise money for the The Fire Fighters Charity to show my gratitude.
The Fire Fighters Charity is here to support local fire fighters whether injured, ill or in need of psychological support. The charity was founded during the dark days of the Blitz to support the bereaved families of brave firefighters who laid down their lives to tackle the devastation seen across the Capital.
Thank you so much for your generous donations, every little bit counts. If you’re around Potton and want to do a few laps with me, I’d love the company.
