Freddy's Memorial Fund for SSVCF

Over the past twenty months, my dad has been on a rollercoaster journey battling cancer. With his amazing oncologist, Dr. Cabebe, and all the hope in the world on his side, my dad was able to spend two weeks in Italy with his family, walk me down the aisle, witness the beautiful birth of his new grandaughter, Lana, and spend countless cherished moments with his family and friends.  On Friday, October 30, 2015, my dad, Freddy, took his last breath with my step-mom, Beth, my sister, Melissa, and I by his side. 

My dad touched so many hearts by simply being him. Always looking at the glass half-full, always finding the silver lining in any situation, and never losing hope, it was an honor for all of us to be a witness to his life.  He spent his "down time" sitting on the board of Soccer Silicon Valley Community Foundation (SSVCF), http://www.ssvcf.org, whose goal is uniting the community through soccer.
