Can you help?

In 1962, Notts CYP signed a 99year lease for the land where Monty Hind and the car park is located. We have 37years remaining on our lease. The land was originally leased from The Nottingham Co-operative Society, but they sold the land in November 2023. Our lease still legally stands for the remaining 37years, but unfortunately, the new landowner has caused many struggles and challenges and are disputing our lease and we are now having to fight to save our much-loved Centre.

The Centre is used by over 450 young people every week and is seen as a safe and inclusive space for all young people and the local community to attend and have fun.

Obviously as a Charity, the concept of a legal battle is not only worrying and intimidating but will be a huge drain on our already struggling finances.

We are asking for any financial support you can spare. If you have ever benefited from our Centre or the car park, if you have enjoyed being here and attended our events, if you’ve spent time here as a young person, or if you just believe in us and what we do…. then please help.
