Embarking on a World Race

My name is Braham Miller. I am a 20 year old living in Kentucky. More importantly, and to be much more descriptive of myself, I am a follower of Christ. Though I am young, I have seen God work in indescribable ways. There have been incomprehensible opportunities continually pop-up and I find myself now with one great, ever-growing, desire. That is to Go.
To share the Love and Word of Christ to all who need to feel it. To extend my heart in a radical fashion, in hopes of making an everlasting impact. To allow my small hands, and my little love, be multiplied and used by God. To deeper experience the Exhilaration of knowing the Power of God will Protect, the Presence of God will surround, and the Love of God will enfold without condition or boundaries.
To fulfill the Great commission.

This year I have been able to work with a mission organization called Adventures in Missions where I have been on two short term trips to Haiti. We worked within a smaller village and stayed on the rooftop of a locals' home. I fell in love with the opportunities, and found immense purpose during my time there.
I am now looking to take my next step into the world of Mission Work as my desire to do so continues to grow.

In August of 2016, I will be embarking on a mission trip known as "The World Race". The World Race is an 11 month mission trip to 11 different countries ( I will be working in Lesotho, Swaziland, South Africa, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Jamaica, Haiti, and the Dominican Republic). During this time I will be immersed in many different cultures and will be getting to spend time with many different people groups. Some places we go, we will work with women whom have been in the sex trafficking business. Other places, such as in Asia, we will be working with a much more persecuted church. In some areas we will find ourselves building homes, or working with an AIDS orphanage, while in other times we may be simply building relationships. The goal is to willingly be the hands and feet of the body of Christ.
There is a need. A desire. A call.
To ensure that all among the earth hear the news and feel the love that I have found eternal joy in.
And I have found a need. A desire. A call.
To offer my hands in the places they're needed most. To love where love is needed the most.

"If you want to walk on water, you must first step out of the boat"

So here's the deal, it's not free, and I'm a college student looking to make a radical life decision for the Kingdom.
I have for far too long ignored my desire for mission work due to a lack of trust in God to provide.
And that will not hold me back any longer.
The total cost for the trip consists of everything needed. From medical insurance, to plane tickets. I am looking to raise $18-19,000 for this adventure. Please do not feel any obligation to assistance, as I would much rather receive nothing than an un-desired contribution. But if you feel called to, or a desire to assist the kingdom of God by working with me in this way, I ask that you would prayerfully consider doing so.

There are three ways in which you can assist me in making this trip possible.
First and most importantly, I need prayer. I need support on this trip and far beyond the value of your money is the value of your prayers. Through prayer, God will work. Though the process of fundraising is my only worry.. That is such a small task for an everlasting, almighty being.

The second way you could assist this mission is by supporting me with a one-time donation. Anything! I mean everything is an incredible help! I can use every dollar, and I just ask that you would consider our cause in this.

The third way you could support me on my trip is with a monthly donation. Money, I understand as well as anyone, does not grow on trees. Well, not in the form we wished it did at least. I understand, if you're like me, there is not much of a onetime donation to offer. If you do want to join with me in this mission and do not have the ability to offer any financial assistance at one time, there is always an option for monthly donations.

The first financial cut will be in May. I will need to have $5,000 by then.
The second financial cut is not until 2 weeks before we depart for the mission field. I will need $10,000 by then.
Once being on the field, I will have a total of 4 months to raise the final $7,000 for the trip.
(I am aiming to raise an extra 1,000-2,000 for transportation to and from our beginning and end point. I am also aiming to raise a little extra in case of ANY emergency where that excess could be needed)

I ask that all of you would prayerfully consider the mission here. As I have come to a point where nothing will keep me from spreading the incomprehensible peace, endless joy, and unconditional love that I have found in Christ. No matter where I may be. But I am willing to step out of comfort and into adventures of radical Love. I am desiring to invest in the labor of Love, and there are many areas of this world where hands are needed to be offered. I want nothing more than to be capable of assessing the brokenness in different areas of our planet, and have an opportunity to stand up with, and alongside, people of all nations. No matter what that needs to look like. No matter the cost. I am asking for your assistance in spreading endless, unbreakable, joy.
