Pepè life saving leg operation
Donation protected
Hi, this is Pepe, he has spent his whole life living with his mother Daisy, a Lhasalier and 2 other girls, Maisy and lucy. All of our dogs have been taken in as rescues, Maisy, a sheepadoodle, came from a dog shelter in Aberdeen, Lucy, a labradoodle, came from a family moving away and daisy came from a family that could no longer take care of her when Maisys sister passed and she needed a new friend. Pepe was born in our living room along with 2 sisters and 3 brothers
on the 8th of August 2019. He was the most mischievous puppy in the litter, always ending up underneath his mother or out on the floor, he would leap out of your arms when you were holding him. He was the largest of all 6 puppies and one of the noisiest, he would constantly be arguing with his siblings usually over there favourite tiny tennis ball. He would always be the first one into the food, most of the time actually bathing in it but When he was still really young we noticed both his front legs were pointing the wrong way, we thought it was probably nothing but we took him to the vet anyway, they told us we needed to get him x-rayed. On the 12th of August, just after his birthday, we took him to get the x-ray and it turns out his radius and ulnar had grown too fast causing severe curvature of both bones, we were told we would either have to travel 312 miles oversea to get a really expensive operation that costs £5000 per leg or get him put down, we would hate to see Pepe, a dog who has only been around for 1 year have to leave so soon but we can’t afford the operation and the insurance will only cover up to £2.000 witch will be mostly eaten up by his medication. We only have until around april 2021 to get £10.000 and would love to get some kind-hearted people to help Pepe get a better life by sending small donations or simply sharing this go fund me where ever they can.
