Holiday travels

As a veteran, one of the hardest times of the year for me is the holidays, especially since this year in particular I won't be able to spend the holidays with the little bit of family I have left: my daughter in CA. Fortunately I have some friends in the area I live who have invited me to share an Xmas day meal with them. Unfortunately travel is a difficult issue as I don't have a vehicle or a license and being a transgender veteran in a red state like this is net exactly a safe bet so that rules out public transportation. However there are options, they are just a little more than I can afford without assistance which is where I'm hoping you, the reader, come in. Based on Uber Holiday rates, I've calculated it would cost around $150 round trip to go there and return. So what I'm asking help with is transportation costs as well as enough to buy the things I would need to have my own dinner at home in case travel plans fall through for some reason. Your help and donations will mean a lot to me as a veteran living alone this holiday season. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
