Brian's Fight

Our good friend, Brian Canning was recently diagnosed with Acute Myloid Leukemia and will be out of work for several months for treatment. Brian is a wonderful husband, father to 3 boys, and has many friends who care about him. Brian has a huge heart and has always put others first before himself, but now he and his family need our help.

     At this time, Brian has been admitted in the hospital, and is currently going through multiple rounds of chemo treatments, has had 30 blood transfusions, and has had 2 bone marrow biopsies (with at least one more to come). Also, while being transported to Moffitt hospital (cancer treatment hospital), he developed a serious reaction to the platelets from a blood transfusion, and he had to be transported back to the regular hospital. The reaction happened 2 more times, so now he needs to be medicated with premeds before the transfusions. His immune system is very low to where it is not safe to be out in the “real world”, and he still cannot be transported to the Cancer Treatment hospital for at least 2 more weeks.

     With all the above treatments and being off work for so long, he and his family are in desperate need of financial help with medical bills and general living expenses. Anything you can donate to Brian and his wonderful family during this time is greatly appreciated!
