Morgan's Road to Recovery
Donation protected
Hello Everyone,
***Please note, because we were not sure if we would be able to continue with the original fundraiser the family created this new fundraiser called “Morgan’s Road to Recovery”. BOTH fundraisers are very much legitimate. No need to donate to both:)***
THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR PREVIOUS DONATIONS.
My family feels blessed and humbled by your support and generosity. The Elizabethport Presbyterian Center and Detective Darin Williamson have reached their goal of $100,000 in Phase I. There are no words to express how grateful we are for their efforts.
Due to the outpour of concerns and eagerness to help, the family decided to continue with Phase II of Morgan’s fundraiser.
WHY: Our daughter Morgan was a victim of a road rage incident on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at 8:30 am in Elizabeth, New Jersey, where she sustained multiple injuries.
HER STORY: Morgan was attempting to record the assailant's license plates before he could flee the scene of a minor traffic incident. While she was taking photos, the perpetrator drove his Mitsubishi SUV in her direction.
In a desperate attempt to escape, Morgan began running. However, it was to no avail because the driver ran her over with his vehicle. While lying helplessly in someone's front yard, the driver drove over her two additional times.
Morgan miraculously survived her terrible ordeal. She sustained three fractured bones in her neck; a broken femur; a lacerated liver; broken ribs; fractured back, and road rash over her body.
This ordeal has strengthened our faith in GOD and has brought our family closer together.
Thank you for all of your prayers, kind words and love that you have shown us.
