Oreo's Surgery Fund

From one day to the next my dog woke up with his hind legs paralyzed and wasn't able to get up or walk on his own , which is called intervertebral disc disease. He is 7 years old and means the world to me. He has also been with me for a while and is the first dog I've ever had . In an emergency my mom , who works everyday and raised me alone , rushed my dog Oreo to the hospital where he was admitted to a neurologist for surgery . The MRI alone was $3,500 and plus the surgery , it summed up to $7,000. A bill that my mom and I aren't able to afford. I am currently still in high school and playing basketball for a team I cherish . I understand that Oreo is just a dog and the bill itself is way too much to handle , yet, to me my dog is family and really is a special part of me and I'd do anything just to at least see him get back up on his feet . I've never experienced the pain in losing a pet close to me , it's heartbreaking to feel but I know with the support of you guys and those who are there for me will be able to give him a chance to be able to walk again and live life for a while longer.
