Help rebuild his life!

Hi, my name is Christina, and I'm here to raise money for my cousin, Merlyn Deighton. He lost everything on his 60th birthday while in the hospital. Yes, you read that right. He was taken by ambulance to the hospital a week before his birthday, and was still in the hospital on his 60th birthday. While in the hospital, he got the news on the day of his birthday that his house went up in flames, and he lost everything he had. We all know that house fires and natural disasters alike, you lose things that mean more then money. Your heart is broken and the devastation is unmeasurable. I can't imagine the heartbreak my cousin is experiencing. Losing things that can't be replaced from family members, and his mom,that are passed away.

He lost his wheelchair and all his other medical devices that helped him, since he is unable to walk and is bound to a chair.

He is the humblest person I know, and would never ask anyone for any thing, so that's why I've made the decision to start this fund for him. He has given to the community time and time again, when he was a volunteer firefighter for 12 years. So please consider giving back to someone who gave so much to others voluntarily. I know money will not give him back the the irreplaceable things he lost, but it will help him replace the medical devices and household things he needs and help him find a place to live again.
