Help me pay my Medical School Tuition

Hello! My name is Shanique and I am a second year medical student at the University of the West Indies in Jamaica. I am facing challenges in paying off my tuition, as I am a full-fee paying student. I live in a single parent household and my mother tries her best to ensure that I have whatever it is that I need to carry out my studies, but the tuition for medical school is a lot and she can only provide so much. It was a struggle for us to find everything for the first year, but through all the anxiety and stress that I endured, I was elated when I finally got to see my grades and saw that I passed all my courses despite all the up and down that I had to be doing days before my exams.

Second year is now approaching the end, the COVID-19 pandemic has only made everything more stressful and uncertain and I still have fees outstanding.  If these fees are not paid off, I will not be able to do my exams and move on to third year which should begin in June. Your kind donations will help by allowing me to finish second year and it will also help to kick start my third year.

I would be extremely appreciative of these donations, as not only would I be able to pursue my educational and career dreams, but do it with less anxiety, less uncertainty and perform to the best of my abilities.
