Love for Lindsey
Donation protected
Christian. Daughter. Sister. Nurse. Friend. UNC-Chapel Hill Alumni (x3). Larger Than Life Personality. Smart & Witty. Contagious Laugh. Beautiful Smile. These are a few descriptors of my dear friend, Lindsey Carpenter. Lindsey and her family need our help so please read on for her story.
Currently, Lindsey is battling Stage 4 Ovarian Cancer. Three years ago, she initially found a tumor on her ovary. The tumor was removed right before New Years in 2017. The tumor ended up being malignant - a rare kind of mucinous ovarian cancer. At that time, Lindsey successfully completed chemo, like a champ. Until last fall, she was cancer free for 3 years and things were going well.
Unfortunately, her ovarian cancer is back and back with a vengeance. Radiation, chemo treatments, and symptom management are just a few reasons why expenses have incurred. The treatment regimen and the symptoms from the cancer have made it impossible for Lindsey to work under these circumstances. As we know, every day expenses and bills must also take place.
Lindsey has spent the last 10 years dedicating her life as a nurse to care for those with mental health needs. Now is the time for us all to return the favor and care for her. I am asking for your prayers, love, and financial support for Lindsey and her family. Whether it is $5 or $50, Lindsey and her family would appreciate any support towards medical and everyday expenses. Please consider showing some love for Lindsey and providing a monetary donation. Thank you!
