Dante's Surgery

Hello! This is Ruth and Lito, we are Dante’s parents. Dante is going to have gender affirming surgery in December of 2022. We are very fortunate to have good insurance and the means to help Dante with this surgery, yet even with good insurance and a great support network, this is an expensive surgery with a long recovery time. Beyond our co-pays and percentage of the surgery we are responsible for, this will require us to take an extended break from work to care for Dante and we will have to rent an AirBnB near Dallas for 10 days.

Many family and friends have asked how they can help, so we decided the best and easiest way to accept support is to set up this GoFundMe to defray the expenses enumerated above. For those who wish to contribute and help Dante, we wanted to create this simple and up-front way to do so.
