Help Refugees - Greece

My name is Sofia Pressiani and I'm Italian.

I'm a happy mum of 3 teenagers, work as a management consultant in Italy and abroad.

I started my volunteer activity in 2014 in the sirian border helping sirian refugees who settled in turkey, just outside Sirya. And i never stopped since that day collected warm clothes, providing food and baby supplies in many humanitarian journey.

I had other volunteering experience in an orphanage in Romania and in a rubbish-town in Nicaragua helping baby and kids to avoid rubbish collection and insert them in school program.

At the present, thousands of people are currently stranded in precarious conditions across several Greek islands, including Lesvos, Chios, Leros and Samos and the other islands in southern dodecanese.

According to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), from january to 31 december nearly 1.201,000 refugees have crossed into Greece from Turkey. Most are Syrian and Afghans fleeing violence, war, and conflict.

I need your help!! I'm raising funds in order to provide much needed aid and supplies which will help the refugees in they're days in Greece.
