Hi, my name is Mark Hellige, I started this fundraiser with the approval of Patrick Devlin to help pay significant medical bills incurred over the last couple of weeks. Patrick and I are both Type I Diabetics and he has been through the ringer in the past 2 - 3 weeks. He has been in diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA) and was in the ICU for a few days then on the regular floor for another couple of days. He was sent home and was doing well until late last week when he was found down with a very low blood sugar and was re-hospitalized on 11/03/2023. Today he is back in the ICU with another DKA diagnosis which he developed while inpatient at the hospital.

Patrick recently lost his insurance and will need assistance in paying these significant medical bills along with paying for his insulin, tests strips, continuous glucose monitor (CGM) and all other things a diabetic patient needs.

Patrick has always been the guy that was there when anyone needed anything, now he needs our help!
