Logan's Eagle Scout Project
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Logan Ball and I am a Life Scout with Boy Scout Troop 69 in Glenview, Illinois. I am fundraising for my Eagle Scout Project that will be completed at Historic Wagner Farm in Glenview.
Wagner Farm is one of the last working dairy farms in Cook County and is open to the public for learning. In addition to cows, Wagner Farm also is home to horses, pigs, goats, and chickens. I have been lucky enough to volunteer at Wagner Farm for the past two summers. I have been very fortunate to spend time with and develop relationships with most of the farm animals, but mostly the two horses – Bill and Bob.
My Eagle Project consists of running a wider fence line and path at Wagner Farm to allow for horses and machinery to move around the farm more easily and efficiently. It will allow for the horses to get to thawed water and warm shelter in the winter, and will also allow for machinery to pass through without going on the designated public path.
I will need to raise $2,700 to complete the project, and am asking for your help in reaching this goal. The money raised will be used to purchase the materials and supplies needed for the fence and path. Any donation amount is greatly appreciated and any funds raised over my goal will be donated to Wagner Farm.
If you are not comfortable making a donation on-line, you can make a tax deductible donation by sending a check, made payable to American Legion Post 166 (our charter organization), with “Logan’s Eagle Project” in the memo line, and mailing it to:
