Help Cindy Kleist & Family Fight Cancer

Would you consider supporting my sister, Cindy, and her family as she begins a new journey with cancer without health insurance? While we can't detail all that God is working out before her, this is a small piece of her story:
In early July, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Those dreaded words no one ever wants to hear. I have it in both breasts and two different types, one being more aggressive. I rarely make things easy on myself - LOL.
Five years ago, when the company Lee (my husband) was working for was sold, we lost our health insurance. We investigated self-insurance but the premiums were way over $1000 a month, and we each had an annual $6000 deductible. We did investigate a Christian share ministry that we joined, but they only reimburse medical expenses and often, it takes weeks to receive their checks.
So, the journey began to figure out treatment and find the team we wanted to work with. I’ve always thought in a situation like this, a person needs to go to the finest institution and the finest doctors. But when you have no insurance, that isn’t an option. Not only is that not an option but the facilities closest to you can decline to treat you. The first hospital where we sought treatment did just that. The weekend before my surgeon’s appointment on Monday, they called and said they could not proceed with treatment unless we paid up front. The second facility wanted thousands of dollars before each procedure. We had previously paid hundreds up front already for the diagnostic tests, mammogram and biopsies.
But I know, without a doubt, that all of the delays have been God’s way of bringing me exactly where He wants me to be. Because I know all healing comes from HIM. He has amazed me with the way He has guided me and brought just want I needed, at the right time. It is an expensive journey, but God has and will continue to provide. I would be forever grateful for your prayers, first and foremost, and your support.
