Help With Home Repairs

As you can see from the photo, I clearly need a new deck roof. Unfortunately, even though I'm able to scrounge free lumber from work, I can't afford the other materials needed to repair the roof. I also have a couple of other urgent expenditures which I need to take care of, but can't afford at the moment, so I'm asking for help from my friends.

The other expenditures are mostly related to my two cats. I recently rescued a female kitten who'd been abandoned in an industrial area. She was barely old enough to be away from her mother, and if I hadn't saved her, she'd have gotten flattened by a truck or starved to death. I need to get her vaccinated and spayed as soon as I can, because I have an unneutered male cat, and I really don't want any more cats than I already have. Getting her vaccinated and fixed will cost about $150 at the only vet I can reach by walking since I don't have a car. Getting the male cat fixed (he's already been vaccinated) will cost about $75. The final expense I have is that the overhead light fixture in my kitchen no longer works, and will cost me at least $45 to replace (assuming I can find one that will work and don't have to modify the ceiling to install a different one).
Any money left over (which, knowing my luck, won't be much) will be put towards getting me a car. As will any funds raised over my goal. I don't like asking people for money, but at the moment my income level isn't sufficient for me to be able to take care of these things. Thanks for your support.
