A Christmas Miracle

Let's see the power of community by creating a Christmas Miracle for my friend, Amy Nguyen. A Vietnamese immigrant, she was a manicurist for years but could not continue due to the toxic chemicals affecting her health.
An industrious entrepreneur, she started a second career as a massage therapist with her business Amy's Massage in Elk Grove, CA, near Sacramento. Her customers love her -- her Yelp page has a 4.5 star rating with 115 rave reviews. She's been running her business for 6 years, but with pandemic shutdowns, she is in danger of losing it entirely.
On top of that, she's a single mom of 4 boys under 18. Amy is a resilient woman who has overcome many challenges in her life, but needs our help to survive.
Due to COVID-19, her massage practice was shut down for 8 months, open for 2 weeks, and is now shut down again (for the third time). Even though she has been on unemployment, she can barely cover her rent and food costs.
As many have, she's maxed out her credit card to cover living costs and the interest (24%!) is piling up. She cannot keep her rent, car insurance and other things going any longer. Even when massage practices can open again, it will take time to get back on her feet. A caring and humble woman, Amy is desperate and scared because she has no way to make a living, especially if she loses the salon.
We have a goal of raising $5000 to give her a way to feed her family and support living costs until she can open again. Whether you can give $5, $15, $50 or $500, every penny will make a difference in Amy's life and that of her boys. Your support for this very deserving woman and her family will mean so much. It would be a Christmas miracle if we could give her this boost of income and hope before the year ends. So will you help us create a not-so-little miracle for her?
