Help Katie Fight Cancer

Katie Molgard has recently been diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. As a healthcare worker herself, she has now been put on the other end–as a patient herself. Her diagnosis came in May of 2023 after having a “different” migraine. Katie has had chronic migraines for her whole life, but this migraine was different. Thankfully for this migraine, she got a CT scan where a mass was found in her chest. This started her cancer journey and working with health care workers in a different capacity. After biopsies, tests, and appointments with her primary care doctor, thoracic surgeon, oncologists she was diagnosed with Stage 2 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. She started chemo on July 10th and has continued to have chemo every two weeks. But if anyone is going to kick cancer's butt, it will be Katie. As tired and draining as cancer and all of her appointments have been, she has continued to work full time as a Recruiter, going to school to get her Bachelors, and being a mom (to her son and adult foster kids).
