Kimberly and Frank Guinn Family Fund
Donation protected
Kimberly Guinn lost her husband and the love of her life in a tragic accident. Frank was practicing for a half triathalon in New Orleans when he and his brother-in-law were rear-ended by a car. Frank was killed and Andrew is in critical condition. The two enjoyed training and competing together.
Frank leaves behind 7-year-old identical triplet girls who worshipped their daddy. Their lives will never be the same. Kim is a teacher and Frank was a firefighter. No jobs better fit two people. Frank and Kim are the people I could call any time night or day, and they would be there to help, no questions asked. They are two of the kindest, most generous people I have ever known, and it was perfectly fitting that they chose occupations serving the community. This will be a heavy load for Kim to carry alone, and my goal is to raise enough money to pay for the funeral and give her a financial cushion now that she is a single mom as well as start a college fund for the girls. Putting three through college at the same time will be difficult.
I am absolutely heartbroken for my dear sweet friend, Kimberly Guinn, for their 3 girls who adore their daddy, for his family who loves him dearly, and for all of us who were his friends, and can never replace that kind, boisterous, generous, fun-loving man.
Anything helps! Thank you for your generosity. Every donation makes a difference.
UPDATE: We have been so overwhelmed by the generosity of so many kind people, both friends and strangers. We decided to raise the goal to reflect the current and future needs of this family. Between funeral costs, future school expenses, and loss of income, this family faces an overwhelming financial burden in the coming months and years. Please help us support Kim and her girls through this terrible ordeal.
