Bruce’s vet bills - £7k left to raise

Hi, my name is Sam and I’m fundraising for vet bills for my beautiful boy Bruce. Unfortunately Bruce has deteriorated and is back at the emergency vet.

What started as a tumble down a hill chasing a ball has turned into a nightmare. He had an awful reaction to the anti inflammatory medication damaging his stomach lining, intestines and lymph nodes. He spent 3 days at the vet hospital and came home to recover. He went back to the vet yesterday for more pain relief and has been referred to a specialist vet for a CT scan and to take sample fluids from his joints.

Unfortunately he’s been rushed to the emergency vet again today as he’s continuously crying despite the pain relief.

My insurance doesn’t cover the full bill, and I don’t want a lack of funds on my part being the reason why Bruce isn’t able to get the care he needs. I’m nearing the end of my annual allowance and there’s still a way to go before we have answers.

For those that know Bruce, he is truly a special soul and the love of my life. My Bassett-springer boy is a funny, cheeky and very loving boy and the world is better with him in it.
