For those who don’t already know me! my name KATE & I’m an British makeupartist, who’s made NYC home for the past 25 yrs! Four years ago I decided to pack up shop & move to the countryside full time! I’m a country girl & always wanted to be with nature and horses & give my dogs Space & rescue more! I wasn’t sure how it would all play out but I knew I would make it work! one fateful day my best friend called me with a story about a blind horse that would be euthanized if not adopted by a certain date! She sent me his picture & that was it! My friends all rallied and thanks to theyre love & support I adopted the horse! We built fencing, installed and prepared my empty barn and got ready for my first horse in years!then I searched for a seeing eye horse” to be his companion!i taught them both the ropes for months & made such a bond with my blind boy I showed him where he was by walking him each day around the property it took time but he’s so fearless and smart it wasn’t long before he was comfortable in his new home with his new companion . Next it was BOWIE The bait dog & they all just kept finding me and before I knew it I was making plans to build an animal sanctuary & committ to the ones that have been thrown away, abused or bound for slaughter!giving these animals the forever home that they so deserve on a 14 acre hideaway in the poconos !
I do most of the work around here myself but need to hire help when Im away on a makeup bookings! As I’m sure your all aware Animals especially horses are expensive to upkeep most with existing ailments or issues which is sometimes why they find themselves in the “system” there’s also fencing & property Maintenace around here which is pretty mici constant which is why I need your help! Because I simply couldn’t do all myself with you !
Im so excited to share my journey with you & registering as a “ Sanctuary” & if any of you would like to help support us you can make a tax free donation! As registering the SANCTAURY will take a bit of time to process, in the meantime if any of you would like help support the animals here in any way we would be so excited & grateful! Any donation is apreciated no matter how small you might think it is! It will all help us so much!
I am bound and determined to keep These animals safe and comfortable for the rest of they’re lives after what they’ve been through they all deserve it! & Sadly there are many more that need help & I plans of welcoming more

The driveway has been badly damaged by weather & is hard for hay truck & behicles to get in & out
Fences are electric so that Talli whonis blind can hear the vibration it helps him know where he is!
They’re badly overdue & falling apart
Talli has actually started escaping looking for his heard it’s imperative to fix them ASAP
. if you would like to donate any amount it would help tremendously! My goal is to maintain and support the animals here and be able to save more and we can’t do that without your help!

FARRIER : $200 per visit
