Glioblastoma Research

Hi, I'm Karina Miocevich, and I am raising money for the glioblastoma foundation which helps conduct valuable research on glioblastoma drug development. My grandma was diagnosed with a glioblastoma tumor on my 17th birthday this year, so this topic is very close to home. Currently about 52% of all brain cancer patients have a glioblastoma, and unfortunately this is the most aggressive type of brain cancer. The current survival rate is very low, and with treatment most people only will live an additional 15 months. I hope to spread awareness about this disease, and be apart of finding a better treatment plan for patients. All money raised, will be donated to the Glioblastoma Foundation.
