Snacks for 2nd Graders

Hello! My name is Frances Rodriguez and I am organizing this gofundme on behalf of my son’s class. He is in 2nd grade. In the fall, his teacher sent home a newsletter that mentioned how hungry the kids were getting in the afternoon and if parents could maybe help by bringing in snacks to share. The kids’ lunchtime is from 11:10 to 11:40AM, so it’s understandable that they would have rumbling bellies! This pulled my heart strings pretty hard! As we all know, teachers financially provide a lot of things already for their students and classes. I want to help my son’s teacher by taking care of this for her. I’d like to have this fund started and hopefully keep it going all year long.

Kids should never experience hunger, at any capacity. This will help get a little something in their bellies until they get home for dinner. My son’s class and teacher would appreciate any help!
