Shayne Copeland Funeral and Memorial
Donation protected
MSgt (ret.) Shayne Copeland was taken unexpectedly from us Saturday, April 12th. We are in desparate need of help from friends and family. Shayne's life insurance policy from his Active Service was not transferred after retirement, leaving his eldest son, Tyler, and his fiancé, Betty, responsible to pay for his funeral. Veteran's death benefits will not cover the costs for a non-service related death. The families of Shayne and Betty after dealing with three other deaths in the past year are unable to contribute financially.
Shayne's gusto for life lead to many passions, he loved singing, playing just about any and every sport, running, the beach and rescuing animals. His biggest passion though was his friends and family. Shayne never met a stranger and made everyone feel like they were his top priority. He was an awesome mentor to the young airman while active duty and an awesome mentor and friend to everyone lucky to be in his life. He was the type of person to do without so a friend wouldn't have to.
Please help us raise funds so his young airman son Tyler can return to duty after properly laying his father to rest and his 13 year old son Jonathon and Betty can celebrate his life with the memorial he deserves.
