Help me get justice

Dear friends and family,

It is with a heavy and humble heart that I ask for your financial help.

Despite my hard work, commitment and faith, my divorce and custody battles have been extremely difficult and heartbreaking.

I need your help, Orion needs your help.

Long, story short; the court system is failing me, in 2023 I was in court almost once a month, and despite moving to Lethbridge to remove barriers, I remain an access parent to Orion, who went on suicide watch in November.

I'm trying to resolve the matrimonial affairs (asking for 50/50 split) and parenting (50/50; though I believe I should be primary! I work hard to be an excellent mother).

The situation has become depressing, and I am navigating the court system, health care system and school system as best as I can, while starting a new life and launching my business.

I need help. Socially, emotionally, physically, financially.

This life chapter feels very dark, and I am asking for your financial support to keep my spark bright. To help me access a lawyer (again) to create solutions and closure for Orion, myself and Jonathan. Our broken family needs this closure to heal and find a new way forward.

A lawyer retainer is $5000; I'm hoping to raise $10,000. A retainer for me, and a retainer for Orion.

I spent almost $30,000 on my first lawyer and have been self-representing since June 2022.
